I have been in the Denver area for 32 years. Love living in a climate where there are seasons and, due to lack of humidity, can keep a hair do for a full day:) Officially retired from Westerra Credit Union 7 years ago where I managed the corporate offices. After 15 months of trips and house projects,I was ready to go back to work! Pastor from our church, Our Lady of Fatima, called and I went back to work three mornings a week...it has been perfect! I coordinate the home bound program and senior ministry activities. Two years ago, he asked if I would coordinate at our parish the 100 year celebration of Our Lady's apparitions in Fatima, Portugal. This has been the most fun and most fulfilling thing I have ever done! Check out our activities at www.fatimacentennial.com. I have been married to Stan Collins since 2001. Stan is a graduate of the class of 1975 of the Air Force Academy and spent 22 years in the Air Force. He went from that retirement to being a pilot at United Airlines. We have taken advantage of these relationships to take a lot of trips! Last year we worked in 11! I will retire for a second time at the end of this year so we can increase our travel:) We are about to become grandparents for the first time this year! We are so excited, my one son, Patrick and wife Corey will present us with a grandaughter in August. Stan's oldest of three sons will be giving us a grandson in October. Our travel will now shift heavily to Massachusetts and Texas destinations! I won't be able to make it to the reunion due to baby arrivals and the end of the centennial celebration in October. Know that I will be there in spirit! PS Please don't tell anybody that we graduated 50 years ago!!! |
